SUZANNE MAYES - MY STORY

Since launching Sycamore Beauty in 1998, and with over 30 years' experience in the beauty industry, facials is an area that I specialise in. I have worked with various micro-current machines over the last 24 years and enjoy working with electrical facial treatments that stimulate all the natural functions of the skin.

I have many years experience working with top cosmetic brands, doing makeups for all occasions, and giving makeup lessons.

​

Due to many people suffering with anxiety and stress, working with mindfulness and reiki has also become a core part of my work at Sycamore Beauty.  I qualified as a Reiki practitioner in 2005 and have been working with it ever since. In 2022 I gained more qualifications in London to further my knowledge in this growing area of my business. 

Having all this experience has proved to me that looking good stems from feeling mentally well, and my aim is for every client to leave the salon with a lovely warm glow, inside and out.

Promoting positive energy and listening to the real needs of my clients is key, and to create a bespoke service to meet your individual needs.

I am also very passionate about a greener planet, recycling, and living as toxin free as possible.

I am proud to be a TROPIC Ambassador, and be part of TROPIC who are a British company specialising in making cruelty/toxin free/vegan beauty products. Many of the products have won awards and work so well with all my beauty treatments.
